Apologies, for the delay in posting... hopefully, there shall be more to come hence forth
Noah/Spawn The hellspawn once again nodded, quiet and to himself as usual. He listened to the young woman as she told of how things seemed pretty lonly for her and how she was the only one with a "green thumb". It wasn't exactly lack of interest or boredom, but his thoughts and mind were mostly focused on one thing, and that was the possiblity of an invasion. As stated before, he'd been doing quite a bit of realm hoping and studying the new trouble makers. For now, that's all they were to Noah and barely at that, mere trouble makers. A screech sounded and Noah temporarily took note of a hawk that was flying high over head. He'd also sensed the presence of another new comer, known or unknown to Noah that he'd seem to come to make an alliance. His thoughts drifted slightly to the interesting woman that he'd so recently met too: Lucca. Though she knew what he knew now, Zalion had changed and it was alittle new even to Noah. Perhaps he could find an excuse later on to have Lucca visit Noah's self proclaimed home. Turning back to the woman picking plants for medicinces he asked, "And tell me, what is it exactly that you're making?"
Noah/Spawn Indeed, his wounds would heal much quicker and better than a mortal's, pretty much instantaniously. Noah's mind, though vast and horribly intellegent and callculating, found himself thinking that guard duty was just pain boring. The scirmishes and waiting were....beginning to test his nerves and patience. He finally thought it was time to take a brief break from guard duty. And of course, the first thing that popped in his mind was to bring Lucca to Zalion at least and show her around a bit. Though she knew what he knew about it, Zalion had changed slightly, and thus it would be a slightly new experience. Plus, it would be interesting to see how the realm's people would react to the hellspawn guardian's love interest. He reached across with his senses throughout the omniverse while this Surreal explained about poisons and medicines. He paid attention to her of course, but still reached out. Finally, he felt the familar presence of Lucca within the realm of Ulster. No big suprise to find her there, of course. And with that, he focused his thoughts and efforts in a way that would draw Lucca accross the realms to have her standing infront of Noah, a sort of instant teleportation.
Lady Lucca how different the days of the fall seemed to feel within the final weeks of the year, with all the world changing at such a quick pace… even her own world had changed so drastically, the end seemed itself for naught. Letting the darkened orbs roam along the contours of the forest walls, her weathered frame continued upon the spidery path. Autumn leaves cascaded through the forest in an almost too obvious attempt to mimic that of rainfall. And yet she minded it not, for even its obscene presence paid heed to her need of relaxation, the brilliant colors distracting the mind from distant preponderances. "Noah…" she breathed, a gloved hand drawing along the greaves and bumps of an old withered tree. This was the very forest she had first dawned upon, the very walls in which housed their dance of remembrances. It would always hold such a notion of nostalgia within her mind, but at the same time, would it mark within her a corner before the turn of a new life. He had brought so much with him that very night, opening up before her a universe beyond her imagination. How could she have refused the forbidden fruit? So much, they were alike... and yet, so different. How could she ever explain that which plagued her so? Balancing her gaze upon the waning sun, her mind felt a gentle tug, a call if you will, and then silence once more. Lines of worry crossed her brow for a moment, before the sensation was gone. Then again, in the span of a singular breath, the call came forth, as a twitch to a perfect projection. Hues intertwined in a lover's quarrel to the ancient pull upon subtle strings. At first, fear laced within her heart, then a calming sense that she would soon find that which she was looking for. Another blink, one more pass of breath, and the sky shifted entirely, though the sun remained the same. Despite the age of memories, and that they were not her own, it all looked familiar to her, as if out of a dream… and its dreamer, none too apparent... "Nice of you to send the invite…"
Noah/Spawn And so it was that a noticeable chuckle came from the hellspawn guardian of this kingdom/realm of Zalion. What brought such a response to him? The sight that his teleportation spell had been successful and before him, less than seven feet away, stood the woman he knew as Lucca. "Nice of you to accept it and visit." He said in response to her question. It was still raining, at least where Noah and Lucca stood. The droplets of water beat down on the cape and collar of the hellspawn and bounced off. Soon, the gentle rain would turn into nothing more than a light falling mist. "Tell me, do you find these surroundings to your liking?" The landscape of Zalion was much like that of Ulster's, in the sense that the country side was green and rocky, much like a picture taken out of northern Europe on Earth. Since Noah's adsence and return, Zalion's landscape had changed slightly. Though it had kept its characteristics, subtle things had changed such as some rock formations and the directions and locations of rivers and a small lake or two. Quiet and polite to her as always, he gave pause to allow Lucca to answer him.
Lady Lucca the soft chuckle behind her brought about a moment of intrigue and wonder, for its familiarity founded something akin to a chill within her blood - though hardly, could she deem such a feeling unwanted or uncalled for. Letting a soft smirk touch her lips, she turned to fully face her gentleman caller, adjusting the silver broach that held the heavy cloak to her bodice. Garbed in her usual confining attire, she moved towards him with the folds of a gossamer dress trailing behind, though the qualities of her garments were different from the ones she had worn before. Perhaps it was the chance he had given to her to feel something different that brought forth the new style of apparel, or perhaps her utter disregard for anything 'lady-like' brought about the keen fashion sense. However it had been deemed to arise from, the distinctness of her attire was apparent, the form-adjusted shirt hanging loosely from her bodice while the skirt merely 'hung' about her hips. The deep red hue merely accented the rose to her cheeks as she finally stood before him, the distance maintained merely a few feet betwixt the two. Looking up with darkened orbs, she wandered through the darkness of his visage, her mind taking upon a more calm yet excited tone. "Not like there was much of a choice with that one.. though I must say, I do like what I see.. "
Noah/Spawn His eyes narrowed, though not in anger but as a sign he was pondering something. Whatever he was thinking about, he caused him to appear to space out for a moment or two before finally speaking up. The resulting comment he made was rather sudden and obviously pertained to whatever it was that he'd been pondering for a moment or two. "Tell me, Lucca, would you allow me to place my hand on your shoulder and bestow a sort of....gift...upon you?" The front of his cape moved parted and folded behind him to reveal the full features of his uniform as the rain became nothing more than a gentle falling mist. His right hand took on a green glow as he again paused to allow Lucca time to answer his querry, never once really taking his mind off his obligation to Zalion, nor the task he'd taken up to put a stop to the recent trouble makers. As such, he still remained slightly focused on his guard duty.
Lady Lucca his eyes seemed to draw her in further into the noxious realm of his mind, as if there was always something more within those glowing orbs that she could break up, if but for another moment or two of venturing. The words, however, that seemed to break the silence between the intense gase, merely added upon her intensity of curiousity. What more could this man, this creature, bestow upon her, that was not already given ten fold? Nodding her head, she turned herself to view upon the landscape with which they now stood, her eyes finally seeing what it was he had referred to. Yes, it was beautiful, though her heart judged it always against that of Avalon and home. The life that ran rampant upon every hill and presipice seemed only to accent that which flowed through the rivers, breathing afresh into her a new sense of appreciation for the gifts of the gods. 'Twas truly a place to be marvelled upon, if not entirely loved. She could understand how this was his self-declared home for the nonce. "You may do as you wish," she started, though her back almost competely to him. "You have all that I am, Noah, all within your posession. You need not ask, merely let it be known..."
