ziranam_loathar* makes his way up the trail, back into the living area. Tis only been 3 months since he moved in, and to his surprise he has kept himself well hidden. With his kingdom being run by his Royal Advicers, he finds it alittle depressing to know that the townspeople might think he is still in the castle. Stepping softly on the path, he comes close to the doors but stops before reaching them. Having his gaze move to the right, the beach can be seen in the distant. Beauty has always been his weakness, and being alone causes him to jump at any moment of bliss. Pulling the cloak alittle tighter, his boots leave the path of Ulster to the distant water.
high_queen_of_ulster: - Kahlan's gaze is riveted on the distance as she stands on the beach skillfully hidden from the general view by a large rock. Here the pebbles were slowly being ground into sand and it seemed that time was everything here when it was nothing to her. A smile brushes her full lips as she stares out, slowly lowering herself to sit on a dampened stone shelf that appears to be part of the grander scheme of the land. Her hair is pulled back into her hood which is likewise drawn well down over her face to hide her visage. <C>-
high_queen_of_ulster: -Dragging her cloak close about her body, Kahlan fights the wind that seems intent on tearing her cloak to shreds and revealing her for who she is. Not a moments peace! Taking a very deep breath, Kahlan's lungs fill with the salty sea air that seems to permeate everything around her. It felt wonderful to be out here where she could be alone for just a moment in time. Alone with her thoughts of very trying things. Aerillia was missing, that much she knew but what she didnt know was where the Priestess had gone.<E>-
ziranam_loathar* has his first step onto the sand as the smell of the sea runs it course through his lungs. The wind blowing throws his cloak around as if it was a fight to the death. Realizing that his appearance might be noticed, he quickly scans the beach from where he stands. No one in sight....what a relief. In his thoughts, he feels a comfort from the wind. It always seemed to blow away all his worries. With one arm extended, he grabs the top of the cloak and slides it off and to the side. His shadowed hair is suddenly thrown about, giving him the full feeling he desired. Being shirtless as usual, his black pants stay well to his legs and waist. He tends to not carry his weapon about these places, for he knows that it would seem suspicious to the guards. Closing his eyes, he thinks <cont>
ziranam_loathar* <cont> to himself how much he misses his past. The people of his past, his allies, friends, family....and even his love. Aerillia....the name hasn't been spoken for quite awhile. Why had he let it slip away? I guess the saying is true that you don't realize what you had till its gone. But he knew what he had. He knew that the love they shared was pure and true....but his selfishness cost him it all. Suddenly opening his eyes, he speaks to himself "Why did I come here...? Was it a subconcious thing to come in contact with her maybe? Her and Kahlan were good friends...." Shaking his head, he throws the thoughts back to keep from being depressed.
high_queen_of_ulster: -Kahlan's attention is torn away from her thoughts as the sounds of another's voice drift her way. Involuntarily her body tenses and she looks around to find an easy exit. Her only choice was up and over the six foot rocky outcrop behind and above her. That wouldnt work. Frowning, Kahlan realizes that she will have to walk right by the man (by the sound of the voice). Reaching up with a long slender fingers, Kahlan drags her cloak hood down farther over her face and gets up. Her dark brown cloak is somehow keeping her identity a mystery by some stretch of the imagination. Thankful for the ability to conceal her identity, Kahlan attempts to slip past <C>-
high_queen_of_ulster: -The man with her gaze turned down. Try as she might she knew he would find out that she was there, but she didnt know exactly how she knew. It was as if fate were working against her as a stiff gust of wind manages to break through her carefully tended cloak hood and blow it back off of her head. Scrambling to retain her identity Kahlan's long loosely curled hair spills out like a beacon from the depths of a well. The spiraling locks greet the blast of air with a tempting embrace before falling to frame her face. Blue green eyes dance with shock for the briefest of moments before she tries to hide her face. With the man's back to her, maybe she could still escape without his notice. <E>-
ziranam_loathar* has his thoughts come and go as he enjoys the scenery. Just as his thoughts fade, he hears the sound of flapping, from a cloak or cape perhaps. Realizing its right behind him, he doubts its anyone that would recognize him. Turning only his head, he looks out the corner of his eye only to see the one person he had dodged. The shock causes him to jump in his skin, but he stays still to keep from seeming ridiculous. His want to speak with her is greater than anything else. 'Why not?' his minds throws back and forth. Sighing to himself, he turns completely around and stands with his 'King like' stance. Clearing his throat, he speaks. "Hello Kahlan..."
high_queen_of_ulster: -Her heart jumps into her throat as she hears her name voiced from the strangers lips. Lifting her gaze from the stony beach her heart very nearly stops when she realizes who it is. "Ziranam?" Her voice, barely a whisper, carries despite the raging wind about them. "Is that you?" It had been so very long that it was almost hard to place him, but she notices that he is just a little older and looks to be a little wiser. A smile lights up her features and she closes the distance between them. "It has been so long since last we saw one another! It is good to see your face again my friend." Searching his eyes for a moment, Kahlan reaches out her hands to him. It was a nicer gesture than bombarding him with a hug that he may not welcome right away.-
ziranam_loathar* stretches his hand to meet hers, only to graps it and pull. Bringing her into a hug, he holds her tightly, missing even just the feeling of another person. "It has been too long...I tend to disappear randomly, and Im sorry for that. I haven't been there for you when I might have been needed....but that ends now." Loosening the hug, her fragrance can be noted as almost the same thing he remembered.
high_queen_of_ulster: -Smiling up at him like a young girl Kahlan looks genuinely happy. "Ziranam, come. Lets go to the castle. I would like you to meet my daughter Willow." Taking him by the hand she begins to lead him along before she stops and looks back to him. Her expression is one that is almost unreadable except for the slightest hint of worry. "Have you seen Aerillia, Ziranam? She went missing four days ago en route back to Avalon. Please tell me that it is you that found her."-
ziranam_loathar* 's eyes widen at her words. "Missing? Its not like her to come up missing, even for that long. I haven't seen her, but I had been looking forward to it." A slight sadness overwhelms him as it sinks in. Many thoughts race in his mind, but they come and go so fast that he can't even think. "Who could have taken her?"
high_queen_of_ulster: -Noticing his worry, Kahlan looks about to see who might be near. "Lets get out of the wind. It carries voices." Looking deliberately into his eyes, Kahlan pulls her cloak hood up and over her head again and reaches out for his hand. "The castle is possibly the best place to speak of this." Motioning for him to follow her Kahlan shrugs her shoulders forward to heave some more of the cloak fabric over her shoulders so she is deeply intertwined in the fabric. It would take them all of ten minutes for them to reach the gates of the Castle at the brisk pace she has started.-
ziranam_loathar* follows her lead, no longer caring who may see him. His concern is now for Aerillia. Its obvious that she could have many enemies...but who would be stupid enough to kidnap her? One thing is for sure, they shall regret it after meeting Ziranam Loathar.
high_queen_of_ulster: -The walk was almost a blur, and when the Soldiers at the gate intend to stop Kahlan she pulls her hood back. The initial shock wears off quickly as the soldier's scramble out of her way. Most of them dropping down to their knees in a bow, others of higher rank bowing their heads with their fists over their hearts. Noticing that the double doors leading into the castle are open, Kahlan reasons that there must be a tour somewhere on the grounds. Maybe even two. They were always instructed to pass by the Queen's chambers and her study, so being as both those places were heavily guarded depending on where Kahlan was, she smiles knowingly and pulls Ziranam along behind her. "Lets go to my Study. We wont be disturbed there." Taking him up the main set of stairs, she continues leading him up what seems like an endless staircase to the second floor. Once there the lush carpets muffle their steps and she pushes one of the large gilded doors <C>-
high_queen_of_ulster: - Open enough to allow them both inside and then pushing it closed on silent hinges. "I apologize for all the secrecy, but you know as well as I do that wind carries voices. Usually to unsavory ears." Offering him a seat Kahlan moves to her desk and sits on the edge of it still fully cloaked. "I have no idea what might have happened to Aerillia, but I--" Just as she was about to say something two ragged guards burst through the double doors of her study. "Queen Kahlan!" Both fall to their knees in exhaustion and attempts at a bow. "Lady Khisu..." One man manages to mutter through a gasp of breath. Kahlan immediately looks to Ziranam with an eyebrow raised. <E>-
