Blade: * Walking down the acient corridor, where old windows emitted a cool breeze. Both of his hands cupped behind his back. As his gaze caught the ocean beyond the windows. Smelling the musky smell of old stones that withered through time. Vines of some sorts seems to have wrapped itself around the window columns. His long hair gently sways, as he continue to walk toward the Common room of the high queen of Ulster. Proud of the position that he has been promoted to help command a small legion of her army. Stopping for a small moment in front of a window, catching a small glimpse of birds below hoover around pilliars of stones, the ocean reflecting the horizon, as it was a gleeful orange. A gentle smile seems to invaded his lower face, as he remember vaguely of his family back home. -c-
Blade: * -c- Tempting to walk again, towards the door of the Common room. Extending his right hand out, which was formed into a fist. Slightly giving it a nodge, with three knocks on the door, hoping that the queen would answer to his call. *
-High Queen- Kahlan Lothair The day had dawned perfectly for the Irish coast and her spirits reflected it. More spring in her step and ease in her presence. Most everyone felt at ease around her today. Perched on a window sill in the common room, Kahlan glances over to one of the doors which opens into the room. "Enter." Her voice is delicate but full of authority, something she cannot shed in the midst of everything. Turning her gaze back out to sea she offers a small smile of appreciation before sliding off of her seat which is being warmed by the sun. Folds of glistening white cloth cascade like snow with a whisper of gentle distress as she glides forward to meet whomever it is behind the door. Bare feet peek through the long folds of frozen delicacy, the dress falls off of her shoulders and sweeps<C>
-High Queen- Kahlan Lothair Down with a fluted grace. Sleeveless except for the straps that are a delicate lace material, she looks the epitome of her namesake, the Dove. Her long hair, fiery in intensity, is held up off of her neck in an intricately woven hairstyle. A few strands rebel and fall in loose curls to graze against the lightly tan flesh of her neck. Eyes as riveting as they are daunting glance around her once more as she steps through a shaft of light, the entire ensemble bursting to life with a synchronicity that defies mortal means of explanation. With her she brings warmth and a sense of well being, the day as it dawned must have indeed had some effect on the High Queen. <E>
Blade: ~ Slightly pressing his hand on the knob of the door, giving it a turn to unlash the bolt. As he pressed the door open, he heard a creaking noise emitted by the aged hinges. Stepping into the Common Room, where he seen the Queen approaching. Without hestiation he bowed to his knees with his left hand flatley against the harden floor, his eyes starting blanky at the floor. " Yer Majesty..I come to give you report of last night status of the kingdom. " He said calmly, awaiting for her to raise from the floor. ~E~
-High Queen- Kahlan Lothair Touching her fingertips to the man's shoulder as a sign of respect and as protocol suggests to honor him, she nods. "Rise. What is the report?" Turning, the white gown makes a ruffling noise that is not unlike the sound of leaves in the wind on a blustery autumn day. Walking back to her perch on the window sill she slips back up into the seat, the sunlight glancing off of her figure, held true by the way the dress hugs her figure. Is it any wonder that her people have made her akin to a goddess? She scoffs at the comparison for she is no goddess especially those that would fashion her after the corrupt goddesses of Rome or Greece. Long fingers trail over the taut flesh of a rosy cheek before running across pale pink full lips. She wears no make-up and that is obvious, but it <C>
-High Queen- Kahlan Lothair Does nothing to lessen the impact of her presence. She, unlike so many Queens and Princesses before her and to come, fits the scene well. Everything seems to work without a hitch, something she is grateful for. Glancing over to the soldier she smiles lightly. Could this be the same woman that has gone into countless battles with her own Soldiers for freedom and the right to survive? She looks so delicate and frail, yet the commanding presence she makes is a far cry from the Wolf, the other half of her namesake and the guiding symbol for the Kingdom of Ulster and the Military, that she can become. <E>
Blade: ~ He slowly raises in the same spot where he kneeled before her. Waiting a moment for the Queen to make herself comfortable. Admiring the beauty as the reflection of the sun's ray. Made her seems she is a goddess. And many before him considered her as a Goddess of Ulster. " We had a slight complication with teenagers raiding the food supplies. They however, Have been caught and is being held in our custody. We only await your punishment. 2nd, We had strange people passing through, causing a small havoc on asking our commoners questions about a man that they think is hiding here. They have been ridden out. " He stands with his hands behind his back, trying to keep his stance and his seriousiness to the position that he was given. ~E~
-High Queen- Kahlan Lothair Nodding she twirls a lock of hair around a long slender finger, playing with it while she thinks about the situation. "The teenagers, leave them in a cell for a few hours and get their parents if they have any. Do not charge for their release and do not give a harsh punishment. Simply scare them into not wanting to raid the food supplies again." Chuckling with an amiable drawl, she looks over to the soldier with those unsettling raptor-like eyes, another reason she has been called the Wolf of Ulster. "As for the upset caused by the strangers, re-enforce the people by spreading word of the Samhain Festival that is coming up. Have them make preparations for it, clean the hearth and get ready for the unification rite. While you are doing that, get a few able bodied men to bring <C>
-High Queen- Kahlan Lothair Wood for the bonfire that will be burned on the castle grounds for the Unification rite. We will need alot of wood. If you can spare one or two men to over see that I would rest easy that it is in good hands." Smiling once more she glances out the window. "I want this Festival to go as smoothly as possible, understand?" <E>
