Daniel Carter: -Two days had passed since he had first come to Emain Macha. He had to admit the city wasn't as bad as he had made it out to be in his head. Then again, it wasn't as glorious as Halar had insisted it would be for him, either. People all around him trying to get here and there, bumping, pushing, yelling, selling things... it was a giant headache for the young and now very scattered archeologist who now felt more than a little out of his element. As a man brushed his shoulder he clung to the maps and scrolls he was holding tightly and tried to push on, his mood growing dimmer by the minute. He had to readjust his glasses for about the twentieth time, as nothing seemed to fit on him today including his pack which was feeling heavier than normal as well.(C)- Daniel Carter: -The dragon had of course assumed that exposing Daniel to more of his own kind would be a good thing. Sometimes he wondered if the great and wise silver Wyrm realized that he was in his late twenties and perfectly capable of deciding where he wanted to be and what he wanted to be doing. Though he couldn't be too begrudging to the Queen's hospitality. She had put him up in the castle and given him liscense to go and recruit a team for the excavation of the temple north of Invernis an buy as much supplies as he was going to need. He was walking down the main street towards the market square to do just that. He would have to go back as soon as he could and get out of the daytime mob that was filling the streets by the throngs.(C)- Daniel Carter: -He looked up at the signs in bewilderment. Towns that usually supplied dig sites were never this big or this confusing. Having come from a small village like Invernis, this was totally new to him. Eventually he spotted what he wanted, a cartographer. These regional maps would have to be back sooner rather than later to the castle. He was lucky to have been able to borrow them at all. He walked in hesitantly and looked around- a scriptors playground. Inks and quills of all varieties, maps, parchment, and other things he knew he would need. At least everything was conveniently in once place, he thought to himself as he laid the scrolls on the counter and adjusted his glasses again. The shriveled old man behind the desk seemed not to notice(C)- Daniel Carter: -and so Daniel cleared his throat a few times in a futile attempt to distract him from whatever he was writing. "Excuse me." He finally said aloud, completely exasperated. "Do you copy maps here?"(F)-
-High Queen- Kahlan Lothair It had been a long night, and the days events only lead in the direction of an even longer day. Running her hand over her face she expels a heavy sigh and peers through her fingers at the gathered knot of people that are wanting entrance into the castle walls to plead their cases. Cases that have meaning to them such as cattle disputes and land disputes, the list drags on in an endless line. Luckily for her the time of hearing had already passed and they would have to wait until the following day of hearing to come and plead their cases. Quickly taking the steps down out of the castle she hurries along, gathering the skirts of her long dark green gown. A gown that is made of a fine cloth and fits her body well, with off the shoulder bell sleeves that enhance the delicacy of her <C> -High Queen- Kahlan Lothair Neck and apparant frame. The corset adheres to her torso in a fashion that one could possibly wonder how she might be able to breathe. She didnt necessarily want to wear the gown out but she didnt want back in the castle at this juncture either. Quickly she rounds a corner and pulls open a door hidden behind some ivy and covered with lichen and moss. Long fiery hair is pulled up and held off of her shoulders in what looks like an impromtu hairstyle. Thrown up, but not entirely unappealing either. As she scurries along the streets to get away from the castle, her hurried steps cause the wind to pelt her body, as if it were trying to slow her down, but for all of its trying all it appears to be able to do is tug at her hair allowing more and more of it to fall until finally it <C> -High Queen- Kahlan Lothair Falls in waves. Waves that are unmistakable and in attire that is all but a tell tale sign of the monarch. Seeking refuge from the mob that seems to have followed her, she ducks into one of the map shops. Her eyes fall to Daniel and she gives a quick smile before looking at the map maker. "Samuel! Hide me." Is all that she says to the old man and he gets a chivalrous (sp?) smirk and motions for her to follow him into the back. Gathering her skirts Kahlan quickly follows the older and must shorter man into the back room. The door closes and the older man is just on his seat when a few petitioners and other sorts burst into the shop. Demanding to know where the High Queen has gone. <E>
Farris Wolf awoke in his room that he had taken up habit in. He looks around with those dark hazel eyes. He stands up stretching his limbs into the air. He looks down. He had fallen asleep with his clothes still on. Now the clothes looked horrible. He shook his head and brushed them off, heading towards the door. He leaned out into the hallway. A servant at the inn he was staying in stopped infront of him. "May I help you sir?" She asked. "I would like a tub brought to my room and filled with hot water, please." THe servant bowed and scurried off to do what he asked. He turned back into the room and headed towards the dresser where his clothes were. He opened the door to it and looked inside. He still had a few nice clothes left. Thank the lord he had made some money while he was (C) Farris Wolf gone from the castle. Defending caravans and trade routes weren't his normal thing but for the year of doing it he had saved and become a bit wealthy from the many jobs he had done. He was glad that while he had been doing it he hadn't been caught or he would be dead right now. He also cursed himself day and night for not apologizing to Kahlan or even allowing himself to do what he did. He was a real jerk...or atleast he was. Now he had come back turned himself in...did some time for what he did and was punished by law. Now he was unhindered except for the occasional stare he got from a guard. He was one of those the guards kept their eyes on. Also a result for what he did. He finally saw the servant bring in the tub and the water being filled inside it. He smiled at the (C) Farris Wolf servant and she just looked down ignoring him. He shook his head and waited for her to finish putting the water in the tub as he sat on the bed choosing the clothes he was going to wear out today. (E)
Amariette: ~Amariette slowly made her way along the worn path as her large eyes gazed about cautiously and her heart beat at a quickened pace in her breast. Such pervasive silence made her so desperately frightened, but she had been compelled to journey through this stretch woods, her father having sent her on a errand to fetch crafting supplies. Taking deliberate and measured steps, she stopped momentarily as the wind gave a particular moan that froze her in her tracks and caused her to wrap her arms protectively about her. Wearing a simple white peasant dress with sandaled feet, Amariette swallowed hard against her inner unease and continued on in the direction of the kingdom. She was unsure as to why she agreed to come in her father's stead, it was her first time out of her village alone..~<c> Amariette: ~"I should have told father I was heading to the orchards," she spoke to herself, turning her gaze to the left of her path and then the right hurriedly, "but he insisted I go and I couldn't help but obey his wishes. His swords are becoming more and more popular amongst the knights of Her majesty, which is more than good for us. I must help him now more than ever." Sighing, she almost jumped as a squirrel scurried across her path and drawing a hand to her chest, she almost laughed nervously, continuing to walk, but quickening her pace. "I may feel better in the company of others, if I can find anyone without dying of fright first." Her red hair was cropped in lovely curls atop her head and she drew across the main bridge, her green eyes scanning the opened gates with obvious unease.~<c> Amariette: ~She made her way along the lower streets as she drew her nervous gaze about the large and busy market place, the square filled with all manner of merchants and exotic wares. Carefully reading the signs that hung from the eaves of each building worn, she paused to consult the list folded in her pocket. The sunlight flowed across her pale skin and she read the rough script slowly, " A map of Chartha? Where am I going to get that?" With curled strands of red hair falling across her flushed cheeks, she was on the verge of panic, the area alive with the power of business.

Daniel Carter: -There was never a dull moment in the big city. He hated it. "I need you to make a map of this." He said to the old man who was either deaf as a stone or pretending not to hear him. He sighed heavily. "Please?" he said, wondering if maybe there was some kind of Mapmaker's password that he had to use to get any kind of service around her. He was quite obviously Ulsterian, but having never even shown his face in the city before he wasn't exactly sure if the little old man was keen on giving him any service. When Kahlan barrelled in and was grabbed by the cunning old fox and whisked into the back Daniel threw his hands in the air and gave up on the hope of getting his things done for today. Not like he was on a time limit or anything(C)- Daniel Carter: -Not like there were only a few more weeks before the cold season in Ulster set in and not like he didn't only have three days to assemble a team and gather all of his supplies before heading out to the middle of nowhere for a month. He put fingers to his temples to relieve some of the pain from what he felt to be an impending stress headache when the crowd burst in the door of the cartographer's place. A gust of wind picked up one of the maps and whisked it right out the door. One of those days, wasn't it? He groaned and started to push his way through the crowd to catch it, wishing that he had stayed out in the caves west of Invernis to study in Halar's presence. Something told him he wouldn't have this headache if he had. Finally breaking free(C)- Daniel Carter: -from the crowd he bolted for the sheet of paper that was now dancing across the market square. The archeologist ran after it, still clenching the other scrolls in one hand. Almost got it! He thought, reaching out with a hand. He felt the paper crumple in his fingers right about the time he felt himself collide into another person (Amariette). He tumbled backwards, knocking the scrolls in their cases to the ground in a clatter, his glasses landing in the dirt next to them. He blinked and opened his eyes, seeing in a blur that the map was indeed in his hands. Feeling around in the dirt he found his glasses and put them on quickly to see what he had run into. Blinking, he stared for a moment at the red haired young woman with a perplexed expression(C)- Daniel Carter: -as if he truly was surprised to see her there. It took a moment of collecting what were already scattered thoughts, but finally he got up to his knees and began to dust of his clothes. "I'm so sorry..." he said with a small sheepish smile. "Guess I wasn't looking." He said as he handed her the list he had so effectively knocked out of her hands.(F)-
-High Queen- Kahlan Lothair Yanking a bag of clothing down from a hiding place (one of several she had in the town) she quickly changes into the clothing that had been left inside. Making sure everything is straight, she tugs a bag over her head and quickly binds her hands in some cloth, so that none of her skin is showing. When she exits she is presented to the mob as the older man's servant afflicted with leprosy. A collective gasp seems to rid the shop of air as the people start to slowly file out, still in search of the Queen. When they are finally out and far enough away Kahlan yanks the cloth off her head and hands and graciously thanks the storekeeper. Quickly she takes her leave, shrugging her cloak on as she goes, pulling the hood down and keeping her gaze cast down. Encased in the thick dark <C>
Cetneu CheAzure As the sun drew nearer toward a rusting horizon, the marketplace crowd began to heighten while daylight lingered and there were chores yet undone. A pair of cold blue eyes sifted amidst the crowd, drawing in the sea of strangers and the architecture that towered above them, sending long shadows careening across the cobblestone streets. He was a youth in a world where age and wisdom prevailed, but with scarce regularity he could feel his father's prescence guiding his eyes and thoughts. Cetneu CheAzure The sensation however, had abandoned him for days at a time, and he found himself wandering the territories aimless and guideless. The bustling streets lead him past several merchants tending to their wares and busily attending to the mid-afternoon rush...oblivious to the city around them. It was harmless enough really, but never the less, he kept an obedient hand resting on the pommel of a short blade inverted on his hip. Battered armor clung to his wirey frame, shifting and milling as he sauntered through the main street of commerce casting curious stares.
-High Queen- Kahlan Lothair Fabric she moves with serpentine grace among the throng of people out to do their shopping for the day. To her left she hears the wail of someone selling pottery wares. 'Only four copper for this nice--' and before the woman is done Kahlan has moved along, systematically drowning out the din with her thoughts. Perhaps to well because she finds Daniel far quicker than she had planned. Forced with the choice of either barreling into him and likewise the poor young woman he has just apparantly knocked into, or tripping over him. Her thoughts cloud her decision and thus make it for her, as she trips over the outstretched calves of the Archaeologist. Her immediate reaction is a bunch of cursing, but she holds her tongue as she tucks and rolls and comes to a stand once again, whirling<C> -High Queen- Kahlan Lothair Around to make sure she hasnt hurt Daniel, she plays it off as dusting her cloak off. Her cloak hood has fallen back slightly to reveal her face and she grimaces, quickly pulling it back over her face, casting a rather deep shadow across her fair face. A face set with fascinating, riveting emerald eyes. Eyes that mirror the very hills upon which the foundation of her Kingdom has been built. "Sorry Lad. Didnt see you until it was too late." Her raptor gaze levels upon Amariette and she simply smiles. A smile that lessens the harshness that was in her eyes before. "'Ello M'lady. I do apologize for this gentleman, if his apologies do not suffice." She tilts her head to the woman but denies the woman any idea of whom she might be. "Daniel, Im sorry about running in and stirring<C> -High Queen- Kahlan Lothair Things up in the Map Shop. Ill make it up to you, I promise. Samuel is a very old friend of the family." She smiles again and quickly looks around for anyone that might be watching them, as if she couldnt sense if they were. <E>
Farris Wolf sees that the servant finished filling the tub up and he started to undress and step into the tub. He melts almost instantly in pleasure. Then opens his eyes up and sees the servant still there. He laughs. "Sorry I can bathe myself." He got himself bathed and dressed. He strapped on his weapon belt and threw a cloak over his shoulder to cover the weapons up except for the long sheath sticking out of the bottom of the short cloak that he had put on. The servant got the tub out of the room. He left the room dressed in his clothes and entered the street. He looked out into the center of the street and who did he see, Daniel the guy from the study. He smiled and made his way out to him. He then saw Kahlan...as he turned his head he heard a thud and saw Daniel and a girl collide. (C Farris Wolf: He turns back around and makes his way through the crowd. He approaches at a crouch looking through the throng of people. He finally gets to the front and stands up looking at all of three of them. Kahlan, Daniel, and the girl. He looked at all of them and approached silently towards them. (E)

Amariette: ~Her lips parted in an audible cry as the unknown man crashed into her with enough force to send her list flying, her eyes going wide and her body stumbling backwards in the attempt to avoid falling to the ground. Gaining her footing, she frantically searched about her for the parchment and let her eyes settle on the man who had been the cause of her loss. Green eyes surveyed him in more detail as he collected himself from the ground, the scrolls and things he carried scattered about the both of them and covered in a thin layer of dust and grit. Bending down to help pick his items up, she offered a modest and respectful smile, her cheeks colored faintly in a light rose hue that accented her pale skin marvelously.~<c> Amariette: ~"Oh please, do not apologize for an honest mistake. Here, let me help you with your things, you seem to be carrying far more than I." ~She gladly accepted her list from him and folded it quickly, slipping the piece of paper back into her pocket and smoothing the linen down again. Moving hurriedly, she circled him and retrieved the rest of his fallen collection, her movements quick and calculated, an obvious natural worker. Rising up again, she curled her red strands behind her ears and out of her eyes, a shallow sigh parting her lips. "Here you are, I feel I have to apologize as well. Most of the people here seem to be used to moving about at a fast pace, I was just standing in the way, gawking like the visitor I am."~<c Amariette: ~"I don't suppose you might be able to help me?" She tilted her head questioningly and let her eyes fall to his bundle once again, feeling that this man must already be as busy as can be. Clasping her hands against her lap, she averted her eyes sheepishly and looked down to her left, her voice wavering some then, but still soft and endearing. "I'm looking for a mapmaker, you see, my father, Bigham the blacksmith, sent me on an errand to fetch a few things he will need for this season of sword making. He's the famous crafter of Chartha, our small village." Right then she notices the woman and smiles as sweetly as she can. "At your service ma'am."
Cetneu CheAzure He kept his eyes swimming through the crowd, watching with trained attention for the way they carried their weight or tossed their attention. Where as one might call him paranoid, or tedious, he merely would call it "safe". He paused at a small farmer's stand, putting his back to a wall and carefully drawing in the scene as it played out before him with a level of normalcy that only a city could capture. One of the last warm breezes of the summer called out from beyond the city walls, sweeping through the thick air and sending long veins of his errant hair spiraling and unfurling across a face too old to be so young. He exhaled softly, chill breath born into the warm air as a thick vapor that faded as quickly as it was born, and was indicative of the chill that seemed to sweep about him Cetneu CheAzure and turn the air arctic. Frost collected beneath his feet, crawling up the wall like an icy parasite feeding in the stone and thick mortar seams holding them fast. It was an unconscious act, and not one of actual intention...one he was told by his father would be placed under a thicker reign as time wore on.
Daniel Carter: -He smiles again, though still rather embarressed as he cranes his neck up to look at her. Daniel was, among other things, handsome in a studious kind of way. His flaw was his oblivious nature to all things that were not ancient and probably dead. As she handed him his things he thanked her profusely, apologizing a few more times and then dusting off his glasses with his free hand. Her words made it to him though, and he looked up to her again from his spot on the ground. "The cartographer?" He asked, "Actually, yes, I was on my way there myself when I... er.. lost some of my inventory.." He said motioning awkwardly to the scroll tubes, protractor and empty ink wells he had been carrying. "I can show you where it is if you..." But he never got to finish(C)- Daniel Carter: -Eyes get wide as he looks over to the next poor soul he's managed to cause pain to. The woman went tumbling over him and wound up on her feet, luckily, and though he felt bad as a second notion he could hardly be held accountable for those that could not look at where they were going. He kept gathering the scroll cases, his plain country clothes now covered in dust as was his unshaven face and his glasses. Apparently he hadn't had time for much else other than work for the past two days. And to make his day better, look who it was that he had unwittingly tripped! He thought to himself as he picked himself up onto his knees. "I'm sorry, M'lady..." He says in a mumble to Kahlan and nods as she promises to make it up about the map shoppe(C)- Daniel Carter: -incident. Instinctively he looked up only to see a small dot circling around in the sky high above them. He frowned slightly at the sight of Halar, a friend, but at the moment an annoyance. The silver wyrm was probably having a very good laugh at Daniel's expense at the moment. He couldn't say as he wanted to give the dragon the satisfaction of knowing how hard he was finding the adjustment to city life. He looked back to Kahlan, catching Farris out of the corner of his eyes. He wondered just how many people he knew that he had made a fool out of himself in front of today. "Thank you. I need these maps and the supplies for the excavation by... two days time." He said, trying to reorganize the scroll tubes again. "Can that be done?"(C)- Daniel Carter: -he asked distractedly, counting the things he had to make sure they were all there. Looking up to see the red headed girl again from the corner of his eye something started to turn in the back of his mind, some lecture Halar had given him a long time ago about how to be courtesous around women who were from the city, or anyone for that matter. He sighed. "I'm so sorry, Miss. I'm being rude." He said sticking out an awkward hand to the curly haired girl. "Dr. Daniel Carter. And again, I'm sorry for our little accident. I wasn't watching where I was barreling, I'm afraid."(F)-
Farris Wolf moves towards them right behind the girl. He looks at the both of them smiling now. "Okay Gentleman Lady" He says in greeting to the both of them. His eyes turn toward each. "What fine lady have you met now Daniel." He says grinning at the lady. He was still Farris Wolf...he loved charming...maybe not to a real cause but he might actually think of a good cause for charming this girl. He bowed to her then turned towards Daniel. "Daniel...don't be so rude introduce us." He said in mock exasperation. He was happy...didn't mind the guard watching him and was having fun joke around with someone he knew and a beautiful women. Thats right...he thought of her as a woman...but he would keep that to himself. He turned to each of them waiting for a reply.

Amariette: ~ "You are a doctor?" Her eyes mirrored her own surprise and as an act of perfect humility and respect to him, she took his hand and turned it so that the palm was facing downward. Lowering herself, she pressed her forehead to the back of his hand, the knuckles pushing against her soft skin as she used the other hand to gather her hem. Curtsying in this manner, she made the entire movement look amazingly graceful, which was her intent to begin with. In her mind, he was as amazing as all the healers of her village combined and she would show him the utmost obeisance, per her father's teaching. Rising up again, she caught the whisper like reference to the Lady who was present and her eyes returned to the cloaked woman, a curious glint in her emerald eyes.~<c> Amariette: ~ "How rude of me, my name is Amariette, Amariette Willowbane. I'm sure that our collision wasn't intentional Dr. Carter, so please, cease apologizing when you've been accused of no crime whatsoever. I am more than appreciative of your help in finding this mapmaker, and if you could be so kind as to allow me to repay you in some way." She smiled sweetly towards him, her offer obviously genuine, though behind her sparkling eyes, she was marveling at the sight of him. Having read many books on all manner of things, she was eager to engage him in conversation, having no doubts in her mind that he had traveled many places and had many things to share. Hearing a masculine voice behind her, she turned around surprised and let her eyes settle on the man.~<c> Amariette: ~ "I'm so very sorry M'Lord, am I in your way?" Her voice was even softer, but the look on her face was genuine and visibly soft, as though a King had just walked into her presence. Curtsying to him, she smiled warmly and at his words, her cheeks exploded in a hot blush, the red hue filling her skin easily. Averting her eyes shyly, her hands began to fidget against her lap and she was at a loss for words, deciding to remain quiet.~
ailish_maccana: Moving her way through the market day crowd, Ailish paused, listening for and losing the direction from which the music came. Not giving a toss for the fashion of the day, she had set out once again wearing the pair of her brothers trews and tunic she'd nicked from his room and modified for her use, thinking the ease of the clothing would better suit any adventure she might find. Certainly, trews and tunic could not hide what was readily obvious, but she would be able to sit and play with greater ease in them. A sudden chill in the air caused her to look around her. Out of the corner of her eye she noticed in the grass beneath crisp lines with a hoary edge of white. Head down, puzzled, she followed the lines here and there through the crowd ailish_maccana: muttering the occasional "excuse me" and "so sorry" as she bumped into this person and that.
Daniel Carter: -He wasn't much going to wait for Kahlan's reply, he assumed she knew what it meant. He wanted to proceed with the excavation as soon as he could. He glanced up again to see Halar flying around the castle in circles before settling on one of the upper turrets, probably waiting for Daniel or Kahlan or both to get back to the castle. He gazed at the dragon for a moment, merely a speck in the distance, wondering about him. He had studied under Halar's watchful eye since his father passed away. He was a student, he was a teacher, he learned from humans, elves, and dragons alike. He had studied at one of the Ulsterian acadamies, small as they were, but those years he would never forget. Halar teased him for being so tied to his books and never(C)- Daniel Carter: -to people that were actually alive. He knew Halar was worried about him, though. After all, Daniel only had a good sixty years to complete what he needed to in his life, Halar had a good two centuries at least left. He also had to wonder what it was that had interested Halar so much in those ruins. Obviously there was a mention there of something draconic, but that could hardly be enough. Plenty of temples were built in honor of dragons or at least had mention of them in some kind of light be it positive or negative. As usual, though he was engaged in conversation and in public, Daniel's mind was elsewhere thinking about the ruins and the dragon instead of paying attention to what was going on around him. Farris snapped him out of it.(C)- Daniel Carter: -"Wha..?" He looked over to the red head and to Farris Wolf, brilliant blue eyes glazed over in thought. Ever the eccentric genius he almost always looked like he was in another world. As he caught her curtsying to him, he flushed a wonderful color of pink that no doubt left Kahlan rather amused. "Oh no, no please not on my account. I'm not really a doctor..." He said, then thinking on it realized it didn't sound right. "No, I mean I am a doctor... just... I'm a doctor of Archaeology. I studied for four years at the academy outside of Invernis and... from a friend." He said with another sheepish smile. He looked up to Farris. "Hello Mr. Wolf, good to see you again." He said, swallowing hard. He did so hate to be in positions this awkward. "Actually..." (C)- Daniel Carter: -he said clearing his throat, "I just met Miss Willowbane until just now when I ... uh.." He lifted a hand to scratch the back of his head, "collided with her." He said uncermoniously. He glanced over to Kahlan nervously and then back to Amareitte as he now knew her to be. "And I would be more than happy to take you to the map maker." He said, inwardly thinking to himself, 'and I hope you have more luck with him than I did.'(F)-
Cetneu CheAzure Having his fill of the brief reverie, Cetneu slips from the wall and proceeds through the crowd with a bit more calm than had been exhibited prior. He steps forth revealing a thick curtain of ice that had leeched up the wall next to the farmer's tables of gourdes and fruits, bearing the last of the summer's harvest and the begining of the fall season. The farmer glances at the ice, then back to the man with thinning eyes that maintain a suspiscious glare. It seemed the people had their ideas of conduct, and though he certainly had little capacity for more than farming, he had his feet planted firmly in the soils of reality. Ice radiating from a man like heat radiated from a candle, was certainly not in the soils of reality. Regardless he did not look over shoulder, knowing those eyes were Cetneu CheAzure there doubting and watching him. They grew more and more abundant as he drove deeper into the maze of streets and buildings.
-High Queen- Kahlan Lothair She doesnt make a move to laugh or chide Daniel for his obvious embarassment, in fact she seems lost in thought and something about her eyes which only Daniel has a clear sight of, isnt quite right. With a shake of her head, as if trying to shake off a fog, she looks toward the castle and her eyes find the familiar form that Daniel had also noticed by now. A brushing of a smile finds its way to her lips before she glances over to Farris, obviously just recognizing his presence. "Farris, will you be so kind as to escort these two to the Map Shoppe?" A ripple of her Irish accent falls in sweet melody across her words. "I have to return to the castle." Reaching up she pulls her hood back, the coronet still there from her earlier rush of events. "Something has just come to my <C> -High Queen- Kahlan Lothair Attention." She looks apologetically to Daniel and then dips her head in respect to Amariette. "A pleasure to make your acquaintance, M'lady. Please do let me apologize for leaving so soon, a Queen's work is never done." She says with a wry smile before taking a step back from the trio. "Farris, be sure to get them there and Daniel, tell Samuel that its a favor. He will make sure you get everything you need. Might even tell you some of his old stories in the process, watch out, he can wind anyone." Settling her eyes on the castle again she gives a smile of apology before turning and heading toward the castle again. People scatter before her like feathers before the wind. It isnt that shes a harsh or unforgiving ruler, any abject fear they have of her is for her status and <C> -High Queen- Kahlan Lothair Her power. Power that isnt exactly limited (or so the tales tell) to the power of a High Queen. On the way she stops at a particular vendor and inquires about something she had sent from abroad. Paying for the package she carries on her way. Slipping in undetected through the same door she exited through once before. Her gaze turns upward and she spies what she had from the center of town and smiles. She never did understand the fascination with her Castle's turrets, shrugging she hurries inside. Halar wanted to speak with her and it was apparant by his perch. Once inside she searches for her baby girl, two years old now and still growing. Two years, my how time flies! Grinning she soon finds the little dusky headed girl with her nanny and a few of the servant children, <C> -High Queen- Kahlan Lothair Playing with toys and what not. Coming up from behind she scoops the girl up and tickles her sides before handing her the wrapped present. "Its from afar Aria, from the farthest reaches of our Land my darling." She says as she sits and holds the girl in her lap. She glances up to Amelia and looks down to the children, a direct sign for the Nanny to give all the children something. She takes all of the children into the next room and they soon come back out happily with a new toy between them and Amelia carrying sweets and other delicacies for their afternoon snack. "Quickly Aria, so you can have your snack." <E>

Farris Wolf He bows to Kahlan. "Yes M'Queen." He says grinning at Kahlan. He turns to them. "Okay Daniel...Ameriette. Lets go to the Cartographers shop. If he gives us any problem...well I will deal with that." Puts on a face of one of those you just don't want to ask what do mean by that. He turns to the way the Map makers shop is and starts to march off that way looking cheery and making a path through all of the crowd with a little weapon he likes to call...big stick...which is a huge quarterstaff. He holds it out infront of him yelling move as he goes through to the shop.
Amariette: ~She heard the Archeologist's words, but her body was now turned in the direction of the other man, who she now knew to be called Wolf. Now there was a stirring conflict within her fragile mind, for now she had two men to converse with and both were just as intriguing to her. Lifting her eyes to Sir Wolf, or so she thought him of noble blood, she looked upon him with bright and sparkling green eyes, her lips curling into a radiant smile. Reaching into her pocket, she produced the folded list once again and opened it easily, offering it to him for his own eyes to survey as she began to explain. "You see M'Lord, I have been sent to fetch these items for my father Bigham the Blacksmith. I believe he has made many of the swords that are sold here in this market."<c> Amariette: ~ "Apparently, he needs all of these items to fulfill the order for new weapons this season and since he is busy working away with the hammer and iron, he sent me in his place. I admit that I have become more than a little lost and so I had stopped to survey the shop signs for the appropriate place to go when the kind Doctor here stumbled into me. There was no harm done to either one of us, or the scrolls and things he carries now. I had asked him to lead me in the right direction, but you seem less busy. Please Sir Wolf, would you help a humble peasant girl fulfill the requests of her father?" Her ears caught the words of the other woman and she gasps audibly, her eyes widening and her words freezing in her throat.~<c> Amariette: ~ "That…that was Her Majesty the Queen? Oh my!" She seemed suddenly panic, her fingers rising to rub the soft dirt smudges on her cheeks away as she felt instant regret for not looking her best in the presence of Her Highness. Pouting with an obvious frown on her lips, she sighed and let her hands fall away, her red strands falling in ringlets against her shoulders. The pins still held the majority of her hair up, but she was rather apologetic and her head hung down in obvious disappointment and self-defeat. "I was in the presence of the Queen looking a horrid mess indeed! Had I known, oh had I known, father will not be pleased with me at all…"
Farris Wolf: *He turns around looking at each of them. He then smiles and looks at Daniel. "You can handle the map maker." he looks at Amariette. "Okay..lets go m'lady. Then the servant girl appears out of nowhere with a letter. He reads it then looked up cursing. He then looked over at her. "Oh sorry I have a wretched tongue." He takes her hands in his and kisses her cheek. "I have to go. I am so sorry but the shops you are looking for are right here." He takes out a map and gives it to her marking the places. "We are here." Also marks that place and grins at her as he bows again and runs off dropping the cloak and running off with a slight clink of iron and steel.
Daniel Carter: -Daniel nodded to her in understanding. As long as he got his supplies he didn't care. Maybe telling the old man he was working for the Queen would get him a little more motivated to copy these maps. He glanced to Amariette as Kahlan slyly dropped her title into conversation. She had a way of doing that, let her subjects think they were in safe company and then POW right in their laps with the Queenly status. He shook his head giving one more furative glance over to the castle turrets where he knew Halar was waiting for Kahlan to come and speak with him. Who knew what other friends the silver dragon had that he had not told Daniel about, the archeologist thought to himself. As Farris called them both onwards he waved Amariette infront (C)- Daniel Carter: -of him and held onto his scroll cases a little bit tighter this time as he followed them back to the cartographer's shoppe. Halar and his business would just have to wait. And now Kahlan had gone and upset this poor girl. "Don't worry about it, Miss Willowbane." He said with a half hearted smile. "I'm sure she barely noticed. She did the same thing to me." He cleared his throat. "Besides..." He said dully, "You're not the one she tripped over." He wanted to slap himself upside the head. Today had been rough on him as it was, though he was sure Kahlan didn't make it worse on purpose. Upon entering the cartographer's shoppe he went again to the counter and laid a few scroll tubes on the wooden surface. "Samuel is it?" He said and the old man looked up(C)- Daniel Carter: -"The Queen sent me to get some maps made." He said sternly, looking over the man he knew had ignored him last time. The old man frowned some at being beaten at his own game and begrudgingly took the scroll tubes. "What're they for, son?" He asked, adjusting his oversized monacle to look at the parchment. "Maps of the caved area north of Invernis and the reuins found there. I need topographical ones, if you can, just to know what I'm working with." he said. Samuel nodded to him and started browsing over the parchements as Daniel watched Farris out of the corner of his eye, shaking his head at him. The man had been in jail for a month, couldnt he keep himself out of trouble for two days? He stepped back from the counter(C)- Daniel Carter: -and began to gather what he needed to in order to start keeping a field journal, once again successfully distracting his mind from reality. Meanwhile on the turret great talons gripped the shingles of Castle Emain. Proudly the ancient Silver Dragon Halar, keeper of the Eastlands sat looking as regal as he possible could. He was hoping to meet with Daniel at some point today and he regretted not being able to as he folded his leathery wings against his back, but smiled a toothy smile at the sight of Kahlan coming up the stairs of the castle. Perhaps he would have some interesting conversation today afterall with the great Lady of Ulster instead of his favorite overworked archeologist.(F)-
Amariette: ~She was totally dependent on the man as he lead not only her, but the good Doctor to the mapmaker's shop once again, her steps keeping her close behind him at all times. Watching as the servant girl appeared and offer him the letter, she tilted her head questioningly and awaited his response, only to be greeted by a curse instead which made her gasp in shock. Moving her eyes to Daniel as she searched his gaze for an explanation as to this man's character, she was surprised to hear Sir Wolf's apology and her emerald gaze returned to him just as he took her hands. Her heart began to race at the intimate touch and as he pressed his lips to her cheek, she felt her warm flush surge through her body. ~<c> Amariette: ~Cheeks filling with hot color, the red hue washed over her skin quickly and easily, her eyes averting as he walked out and left her to swoon in the middle of the store. Reaching up to press her fingers to the place where his lips had touched her, she relished in the delight of the memory, completely forgetting where she was. As you could have guessed, Amariette had never been kissed before, not even by her father, save for on the forehead. Though she was standing in the midst of the few patrons of the shop, she had gone to a far away place within her mind where Sir Wolf kissed her cheek again and again. Lifting her eyes again to Daniel as if in a dream, she only whispered, "Goodbye…"

-High Queen- Kahlan Lothair Watches Willow tear into the package with a grin. Long tendrils of fiery gold hair melding with that of her daughters own dusky brown now mottled with gold streaks from all of her time outside. Her thoughts are interrupted by the squeals of delight coming from her daughter. Her vocabulary had formed better of late, what with Amelia and Kahlan both helping teach her, along with Uncle Theo from time to time. Had to watch that rascal though, no telling what he'd teach her. This coaxes a laugh from her as her daughter hugs the doll against her chest and shows it to all of her friends. "You like it then Aria? Thats good!" Grinning she sets her daughter down on the floor to play for the time being. "I will be right back Aria, Mum must go see to something." Pressing a flutter of a <C> -High Queen- Kahlan Lothair Kiss against her daughters forehead she turns and walks out of the room and down a small corridor adjacent to the main hall and follows a labyrinth of halls until she gets to a door she wants that leads out into a side courtyard big enough for the Silver to land in. Shielding her eyes from the sun she glances around and looks up to Halar. Without much effort behind it she calls to him, though in no language that human ears may hear. It rather sounds like a soft hum, but it is a call and one in which she asks the dragon to come down. She settles into a seat and waits for the Silver to descend, for she couldnt yell up to him in draconic. That would look all the more strange and give many more of her subjects reasons to worry about their Queen. Long fingers pluck at a stray piece <C> -High Queen- Kahlan Lothair Of thread on the hem of her shirt. A shirt that smelled oddly of ink and old parchment. She screws her face up at the sudden smell and chuckles, her senses running rampant since the return of Halar. Indeed it had been a long time, he would have questions she was sure, she knew he had to have gleaned a rather interesting bit of information about her from her hair tie. Perched on the garden bench with her feet curled underneath her she closes her eyes and begins to ease her breathing. Something done to alleviate stress and sharpen her senses, senses already finely tuned to the world around her. <E>
Daniel Carter: -Daniel watched the woman with a bit of a smile on his face. Well, he was sure that Farris would be treading on eggshells around Kahlan and her subjects at any rate. Besides, the woman could make her own assumptions about the man, couldn't she? He just hoped Farris hadn't been put in jail for anything too heinous, for he was a little sketchy on the details of the entire ordeal. He moved to the counter with his purchases- a dozen quills (he went through them fairly quickly), leather binding, twine, and awl, loose parchment, and a few new inkwells, the other glass empty ones he had brought back to be reused, being the conscienscious citizen that he was and minding the environment. Bringing his things to the counter he looked at Samuel who(C)- Daniel Carter: -was still pouring over the maps. "Something wrong?" The archeologist cocked his head, running a hand through his short brown hair and peering over the rim of his wire framed glasses. Samuel nodded slowly. "It'll be a hard thing, lad." He said in a strong accent, "But for the Queen and anyone in her service, I'll do it at a fair price." He said with a nod of his head and a wiry smile. Daniel nodded his thanks to the man. "I need it in two days time. I know that's a tall order, but the weather won't look good for my expedition if I don't leave within the week." He said matter of factly to the man, talking "shop" as it were. He looked back to Amariette hesitantly, then spoke again. "And I believe that Miss Willowbane also has a pressing matter for you to attend to."(C)- Daniel Carter: -he said with a small but reassuring smile to the girl. They were both uncomfortable here, might as well be shipmates on the rocky sea, right? Up on the turret the great silvery dragon peered down at the tiny form of Kahlan with a sly reptilian grin. Spreading out his shining wings in the late afternoon sun with all of the pride an ancient wyrm could have, he lifted off the turret and glided softly down to the courtyard that Kahlan awaited him in. He met the ground, surprisingly, with nary a sound. Bending down his long neck to be eye level with the woman he held so much respect for, his scaly lips pulled back into a smile, large nostrils sniffing and smelling her from a few feet away. He was a big dragon, nearly thrity feet tall and twice as long(C)- Daniel Carter: -With scales shining brilliantly at all times of the day or night and wings regal enough to suit one of his kind. "Kahlan." He said with a deep voice and a sharp, toothy smile, "It is so good to see you again." He dipped his head in respect to her. "I do believe you dropped this when last we met." he said dipping his head and lifting a front foot to grip the hair tie gently between crushing jaws and offering it to her. The twinkle in his eyes told her he had many questions, but being wise and a dragon, he would keep them to himself until such a time as they were appropriate to ask. For a moment his keen eyes drifted down again to the map shoppe. "I trust he has behaved himself. I would not expect anything but from Daniel."(C)- Daniel Carter: -a sly grin crossed the dragon's face, "I received word from him via carrier pigeon about a particularly amazing discovery he made in your library, my Dear." he began to chuckle, but it came out as a low rumble that shook some of the benches in the courtyard, "Though I regret to inform you that I can not return the pigeon. I am a dragon, after all, and even we have our flaws, especially when it concerns our meals." Many years of living among the men of the East had made Halar quite an amiable reptile, unlike many others of his breed, and he was a strict wild life consumer, in that he did not eat human meat- a fact that some people found most comforting in his intimidating presence.(F)-
Willow OFreiden: ~The child had spent the afternoon happily locked away into submission with her fantasies. Playing knights in shining armor, the princess in distress. Her stories almost had sporadic quality, a toy broken here and there from her stressful cries against the evil knight she created. The child was barely two and she was able to grasp the importance of such things. Such things as guardians, her mother, the kingdom, the importance of who she was as an individual to this world of Ulster. Her fantasies over the kingdom became interrupted, a squeal sounded, at first of low tolerance and then realization of who was causing this frustration. No one disturbs the child's play time! Willow had been taken aback. The thing taking her into shock was her beloved mother; Queen Kahlan. <c> Willow OFreiden: Willow had once been playing the hero, now she was back into the real world. Fearing her mother would take her away for a nap, or other such nonsense, she began to show a forbidding mood. Such acts were seen as sullen and disgraceful for the daughter of the Queen. Regardless she was only at age two, such tantrums were cursed by her nanny, Willow began to sob, seeing only her toys that once had life, now lay scattered and unanimated. Her mood changed, almost as if the tides had brought some accursed thing about her. Her once melancholy features now brightened. Brown papers lay scattered amongst the fallen toys, her laughter ensued. <c> Willow OFreiden: The once distraught child; now began a new adventure with the present she founded by her mother. Giggles hushed themselves once her mother revealed that she would not be keeping her company, as if retreated back into her tantrum, she clutched the doll into a strangling hold. Purposely following those footsteps to where they may lead. They were her mothers', she cared not where they ended. She would become the quiet shadow, the flutter-by kiss forgotten for she had a new mission. She screeched as hard and loud as her lungs would admit. The screams for her mother startled any servants along the corridors. Her cries of: "MAHMAH!!" Would not cease, that single word would become the haunting sound of a spoiled child wanting to be in her mother's attention. <E>
Cetneu CheAzure He pushed further through the crowd, milling through the labyrinth of cobblestone streets that crisscrossed the city and seperated beige stone buildings with solid faces that watched the sinking sun. He was a vagrant by nature, and with unruly hair and armor that had seen far better days, appeared to be as such with little recourse. He lifted his gaze, eyeing the capitol castle lifting in the center of the city and demanding attention with it's garrisons and flamboyantly dressed gaurdsmen. A long bridge more than likely never used by it's Kings and Queens rose over a quaint trough of water entrenching the building, leading to a large wooden door belted in wrought iron and looming over two gaurds, sword hands waiting. It merely took a step from the crowd and an errant gaze to it's foremost Cetneu CheAzure entrance to draw the gaurdsmens attention and rest hands on the pommels of their blades. A war torn man in battered armor and shifty eyes was not a welcome sight amongst them, and though the types almost always held remarkable power, they obviously were willing to serve as cannon fodder until a valiant hero could slay the bum. He knew the look, and immediately turned away from it to disappear back into the crowd.

-High Queen- Kahlan Lothair The rumble of his voice shook the bench she was on and she opens her eyes with a gentle smile. Eyes of the bluest nature glide over his form as she rises slowly from her seated position and walks over to the Silver. "Halar, Daniel is truely a valuable asset in aiding me with the interpretation of those two books." She reaches out and plucks her hair tie from the dragon's massive claws, claws that look as if they might crush her if she were on the wrong side of them. She had no fear though, none at all. Memories, memories, quickly she ties her hair back and smiles. "It has been such a long time Halar. I have missed your company." The squawling of her daughter causes her to take pause and look around for a moment. Then she spies the child running from the castle, only to get <C> -High Queen- Kahlan Lothair Entangled in her legs. Her aim is best, if she were a wrestler, taking Kahlan down at the knees and forcing her down onto them. A chuckle trickles from her lips as she looks to her daughter and turns her to face Halar. "Halar, meet Willow, my spoiled daughter." Giving a light swat to her daughters behind she rises once more and looks to see how shocked Willow might be, so to alleviate her fear Kahlan reaches out to touch Halar's snout. "Do not worry Aria, Halar doesnt eat people, only carrier pigeons." Winking to the large dragon she looks down to her daughter again, "Though he may make an exception for naughty little girls. Im sure we dont have any naughty little girls around her, do we Aria?" She asks with a joking tone to her voice which has a measure of melody to it. <C> -High Queen- Kahlan Lothair Long lashes flutter before her attention is stolen briefly by a sound in the bushes. A dark look falls over her features and she eyes the bush a little more, until a rather large bird makes its appearance, fishing out bugs from the rich undergrowth. Her body slowly uncoils and she relaxes once more. If there was one thing she didnt want happening, it was for something to happen to Halar or Willow in such a meeting as this. <E>
Amariette: ~ "Yes sir, please, I do not mean to inconvenience you, but I have come here at the bidding of my father. My request is small I hope. I have need of a map of the village of Chartha, my home, and the surrounding lands. When you have completed it, I am sure you will be able to find me, I'll be staying at one of the local inns for about a day and a fortnight." She looked over her shoulder to Daniel and offered a grateful smile, her eyes mirroring her appreciation for all that he had done for her so far. Folding the small map that Farris had provided her with, she slipped that into her pocket as well and returned her eyes to the mapmaker Samuel, trying to look as sweet and modest as possible. Even old men could be wooed by the beauty of innocence, another lesson her father had taught her.~<c> Amariette: ~ Samuel was no exception and his attitude changed instantly at her voice and demeanor, his obvious annoyance at helping Daniel melting away into nothing. Crooning to her, even offering a brief and toothless grin, he nodded his head and promised her that he would get started on her map right away. To her surprise, he began to draw prints for it and pushed Daniel's things aside, she was instantly full of regret, for in her mind, she had laid the charm on a bit too think. Offering him a final word of thanks, she turned and moved back across the floor at an easy and graceful pace, reaching out to tap Daniel on his shoulder.~<c> Amariette: ~ "I believe this is where we part ways Dr. Carter, allow me to convey the deepest thanks from the bottom of my heart. Your help has been worth its weight in gold and I wish you a very fond farewell and good day sir." She thought for a moment on how to continue and impulsively, she rose on her tiptoes with her hands clasped behind her back and pressed her lips to his cheek in a modest, sister-like kiss. Even though her intentions were noble enough, she still blushed furiously and curtsied again, her light steps carrying her out the door and down the road in search of her next item.~
Cetneu CheAzure A sweep across the outermost road led around the castle, to what would be it's "backyard" though it was truly as decorative and ornate as the front. Gaurds milled about a garden sporting matching vests and blades, with matching features and haircuts that made it hard to distinguish one from the other. They all gave him their matching gazes as if trained at a cue, though at this time he was in little mood to stray back into the crowd and disappear. He gave them a nod of the head and mock flourish of extended fingers, and they just sat their hands on their pommels as if to say "...try something....try ANYTHING...". He swept gallantly through the door in more mockery of royal habits, then resumed a normal pace that took him down a lengthy corridor and to a vast courtyard that no doubt had Cetneu CheAzure innumerable hallways splintering through the overly large structure. He muttered a short parable to himself as his eyes drank the pristine stone holding various greenery in the most innatural setting as possible, though it did well to mimick it's origins. He stopped in it's vague center, resting hands on his hips and tossing his head back to sent his face looking skyward and cast a sigh to it's fading orange and pink hued expanse.
Daniel Carter: -The dragon chuckled once more. "Indeed, he's a good man, Kahlan, a valuable mind as well. Though I would like to see him find himself a mate and happiness with his own people, sometimes I do wonder if his fate lies with that which has long since passed from us." He paused to crane his neck to look through the door way that was maybe big enough for him to get the bridge of his nose into towards the wailing of the child. As Willow came from the doorway to her mother the dragon smiled, long teeth shining in the last day's light, though he was not malicious in any way. He leaned into Kahlan's touch to prove to Willow that he was perfectly safe before speaking in his deep voice, the common tongue. "It is a pleasure, Miss Aria."(C)- Daniel Carter: -he said politely, sniffing at her as well but not being too overt about it. "Kahlan, she is beautiful." He said with another very draconic smile, "She looks so much like her father. You must be very proud." It was a dragon's way to convey sympathy, and she would understand that. She knew well enough that Shaine's death had effected everyone, even as far as the Eastern mountians. But he would not let the subject linger. He would still speak in common so as not to alarm Willow too much, but his attentions turned back to Kahlan. "I know that Daniel is an asset to you in translating to two texts you have, however his message was not concerning his ability to read them so much as what he found within them. I do not know what he has told you."(C)- Daniel Carter: -The dragon looked back at the map shop, almost expecting the archeologist to be standing there looking at them, yet he was not. He was still inside the map shop watching as the old man played favorites with an attractive looking girl and pushing his things aside. He sighed, but it did not matter much since the queen would have his head if Daniel didn't get his things in time for the excavation to go up. As Amariette turned to him to thank him he was slightly caught off guard by being called 'Dr. Carter,' forgetting for a moment that that was indeed his proper title. He was used to Halar and Kahlan called him Daniel or Danny for so long that he almost thought she was talking to someone else. Though as she reached up and kissed his cheek he watched (C)- Daniel Carter: -completely stunned for a moment and could not move, save for his blood which rushed furiously to his face, having not been shown such affection in well over eleven years. She sprinted out pretty fast, too, leaving him bewildered and wondering about the female counterpart of his species for a moment. Though an idea then popped into his head. Quickly sprinting after her he caught up with her around the corner. "Miss Willowbane!" He called after her and waited for her to stop and turn around. "I was wondering... your father...the blacksmith- does he only make swords? I was thinking maybe... if you would be so kind... perhaps you could introduce me to him. I'm in need of tools for my project. I was hoping he might have some to sell?"(C)- Daniel Carter: -he asked with a hopeful, small smile squinting through his glasses as the last rays of the sun lay softly across his face.(F)-

Willow OFreiden: ~Willow was not concerned about being introduced to such a mythical creature. She had confused the thing for a statue. This beast before her, was one that her nanny had told her several stories about. Willow had only been fascinated with her mother's quick leave. The small child had thought of it as a chasing game. Now, at her mother's side as that little shadow, she brought the rise to question in her voice. Her once sweet, reserved nature, almost became accusing, and no longer tolerant to her abrasive actions. Her words spoke about her sensitive nature: "Mama, why did you go?" The dragon, almost jumping out at her with his massive size, brought a startled fearful reaction. The child forgot her sudden interrogation towards her mother's disappearance and clutched to her clothing.<c> Willow OFreiden: She felt a loss at words and stayed behind her mother thinking the thing as a dangerous creature. Now questions came in her mind. Confusing ones, she dared not speak though. She only pictured herself and her mother, being devoured by the giant beast with those blunt and definite claws. The pat on her butt, reminded her to curtsy. She instinctively did this in sense of fear. She gathered her mother's garments and continued to clutch on, only nodding in quick responses as the beast spoke.~
-High Queen- Kahlan Lothair Her once stern features melt at the sight of her frightened child, hugging her leg. Reaching down she picks Willow up and smiles to Halar. "She seems to still be afraid of you." She pats Willow's back and chuckles softly. "Dont be afraid of something you do not understand Willow." She meant what she said and used her teaching voice. A voice that Willow would recognize. Mum was trying to teach her something. Slowly Kahlan moves closer to Halar's right front arm and reaches out to touch the scales, encouraging all the while that Willow do the same. "He will not hurt you my darling. I promise." She wasnt surprised to see that Willow's new doll was clutched in her hands, something she had done since a baby. A sad smile burdens her features for a brief moment before she brushes<C> -High Queen- Kahlan Lothair A kiss against Willow's cheek. Hearing something again, only this time coming from the corridor from which Willow had only just emerged, Kahlan lets the girl slide down her side and presses her back between herself and the dragon. "Is anyone there?" She asks with a voice that bears much authority and the coronet on her head was unmistakable. She was the High Queen despite how she was dressed at the given time. A gust of wind blows her hair back over her shoulders, the black satin tie holding on for dear life. She had heard something, and wasnt about to let it get the best of her subconcious thought. Holding Willow back and pressing her further back against the dragon in a protective manner. Only a mother trying to protect her child, a friend sheltering an old friend, and a <C> -High Queen- Kahlan Lothair Queen on her guard. "Show yourself." She didnt appear all that threatening and yet in some way, shape, or form she doesnt appear all innocent, fearful, and unarmed.
Amariette: ~ "Well I suppose not, he's a worker of metals, though swords are his natural forte. I suppose I could introduce you to him, provided I find all of these blasted items on the list." ~She shook the parchment in her hand and her lips pressed into a tight line of frustration, several stress lines forming at the ends of her eyes. Growling lightly but low in her throat, she reached up to draw her fingertips across her neck, tilting her head and taking a long inhale of fresh air. Her chin was lifted and the warmth of the late afternoon sun greeted her face, the rays playing across her skin as though she were some angel. Parting her lips to exhale slowly, she allowed her attitude to cool once again, further strands of red hair falling from their place on her head.~<c> Amariette: ~ Looking to him again, she grew weary of the style of her hair and raised her hands to pull the pins from their place, the long crimson locks falling in thick ringlet curls about her face, neck, and shoulders. They were layered, but full of body and she tossed her head, her fingers combing through them to clear her vision once again, her green eyes brought out by the contrasting colors. Amariette was never a vain child, but she had the looks of her mother Brianne, now long dead, her father praised her very little, but she knew well enough that he would stare at her from time to time as he worked, his eyes always sad. Offering a bold smile to Daniel as a thought filled her mind, she moved toward him and took his hand.~ <c> Amariette: ~ "Perhaps you could join us for dinner three nights from now. I am sure father would not mind a visitor from the kingdom, especially one as knowledgeable as you Doctor. In fact, I would be most honored if you came, I would be so happy to cook for someone else besides him. He would eat rocks if I served them warm enough and wouldn't notice anything special if I prepared it myself. I'm sure you have a favorite dish as well. Tell me what it may be, and I will do my best to make sure it is waiting for you if you come."
NimRuin_War_Wizard_of_Ulster The clouds of his room seemed to linger in darkness as his form leaned against the back wall. His lavender eyes closed a bit, his breathing was silent but still could be heard in the lingering darkness. He just listened, as his staff was placed against his right shoulder. He was not in a particularly good mood, but he was not in a devastating bad mood either. Neutrality was the key, he thought to himself as the clouds seemed to shift as he lingered on through out the room, his form shifting off the back wall as he moved to the center of the room. He sighed some, his mind not exactly the same. He crossed the room as his voice seemed to speak in a soft tone, his low deep tone seemed to walk over the rest of his voice. He breathed deeply as he opened the door, a long black cloak laid <C> Daniel Carter . o O ( my go after Nim? ) NimRuin_War_Wizard_of_Ulster upon her shoulders as it wrapped around his dark skin. His steps were silent, some say the steps of Drow were that of assassins, but that was not always true. He was not assassin, though he did see a thrill in such work. A smirk drew over his expressions as he concealed his new set of weapons. He held a staff tightly in his right hand as he walked through the alleys of Ulster. A smirk crossed his lips as he turned the corner. The darkness rose from the shadows of the city as he tilted his head. " Hmm." He said as she sensed an old friend. Walking deeper into the city, he walked through the main road leading up to the inner palace. A yawn left his lips <C> NimRuin_War_Wizard_of_Ulster As he was a bit tired. His form shifted against as he drew his pifrawi around him, his body phased from site, as this was the ancient Drow Cloak of invisibility. It was given to all Drow from his city. A smirk crossed his face as he walked into the main Castle, the dust rising up slowly as his feet touched the ground. Releasing the cloak from around his body, his right arm raised as he spoke to several guards, making a slow conversation with them about something, He did not like to talk at all unless needed, but he was afraid of nothing, thus this was his own <C> NimRuin_War_Wizard_of_Ulster fault and he knew this. Shrugging off such foolish thoughts, he moved forward again, his steps held a certain grace, in which was improved by his own inner training. Taking the steps slowly he head towards the court, yard as his lavender eyes were intent upon such a meeting that was here in Ulster. <E>

Daniel Carter: -The dragon chuckled his deep laugh at Willow with a tilt of the head. "My dear child," he said with a sound of merriment in his voice, "Are you afraid? Let it not be so, for I have sworn off eating little girls, on my honor." he said rather dramatically, twitching his wings and shuffling them before refolding them gently onto his back. He was being certain not to make many moves that could scare the child even more than her wits had already been scared from her. The poor darling. He tilted his head back to Kahlan with one of those mischevious looks on his face that he often got around new people or ones he was particularly fond of. He relaxed his muscles and allowed Kahlan and the girl to do the same to his leg with a smile(C)- Daniel Carter: -"There, do you see my girl? I will not bite you. You have my word." He watches intently as dragons are wont to do, seeing her face, her alarm. "I assure you, Kahlan, I do not need such protection." It was half a joke, but at his size and power, Halar was hardly the one in the courtard that needed protecting. He said little more and simply turned his massive head towards the doorway, his presence alone daring whatever it was to come out of hiding so that he could squash them. Daniel however noticed none of this and was still paying much attnetion to the girl who had just... invited him for dinner? He adjusted his glasses up on to the bridge of his nose again and smiled. "I would like that very much." He said declaratively(C)- Daniel Carter: -"I'm always one to speak and dine with good company. I'm sure your father is a wonderful blacksmith and it would be wonderful if I could enlist his aid on his project... "He said turning a little red in the face as she prefered to use his title instead of his name. "And please... just Daniel is fine." He said with another smile. "May I?" He asked, motioning to the list and then gently tugging it away to survey it. Scanning it, he nodded a few times and reshouldered his backpack to shift the weight and then gave it back to her. "The flint and sttel is over there at the blacksmith's shop along with your tongs and the hammer. " He said pointing around the corner, "The tonic you'll have to get from the apothocary a few streets over, and the hay is at the farmer's market(C)- Daniel Carter: -just outside of town. I don't know how you'll get it all back though. I'm sure someone can lend you a wagon. I have a few to carry my gear to the excavation site. Perhaps I can loan you one and pick it up when I come to dinner?" He suggested.(F)-
Duchess Elizabeth Lothair: The clapping of hooves slamming against the earth echoed lowly across the silence of the peaceful opened field. As the envoy moves within viewing range within the distance a battle worn carriage with arrows within its surface, could be seen drawn by rather grand Clydesdales stallions which were common mostly in one area of Ulsterian lands, Grey Hills. Formed in pairs of two in the front and rear of the carriage four knights heavily armored in raced within inches away from the carriage, bearing each a single blank banner and a sword loyaly to their side. The war against the rebels had hit the crown of Grey Hills hard causing internal war and propaganda due to the leader of this rebellions false claims against their queen. The man who acted as her chief counciler surprised the queen monarch< Duchess Elizabeth Lothair: <off guard during a battle against the barbarian Saxonies on which she later found he was at the center of commanding and using he allegiances with them with his personal armies from his positions he had little to stop him from sweeping his rebellion like wildfire across the highlands. The queen had her loyalists gather their forces to the capitol and cities surrounding hte area, and it is here where their positions are fortified and where they fight openly for the sake of rightful authority and to down a ruthless dictator. Baron Halleck DeGuilteroy turned on her for the sake of the crown and a kingdom to call his own and with this the lives of many have been lost. The window of the carriage bore only a sheet of worn fabric to act as curtain and slowly whipping within the winds a figure< Duchess Elizabeth Lothair: < hooded in a cloak stared onward to the High Castle of Ulster. As they moved to the gates they are halted by the sentry who moves to the window pulling back the curtain who was met by the cloaked figure who slowly brought her face to light from the shadows her light brown eyes seemed black within the shadows and she spoke with a refined authority reaching within her cloak to pull out moments later a signet ring bearing ,the swine with a sword and shield within its mouth and a cross in the upper corner, the flag of Grey Hills "It is I Duchess Elizabeth ofUlster, captain..." the man looked to her with a shocked appearance and quickly snapping from this he delivered a waistbow and motioned for the guards to open the gate as the carriage made its way through from the curtain her voice went< Duchess Elizabeth Lothair: <out to the captin."I thank you." The knights dismounted, one moved to the carriage door sliding it open slowly and lowering his head extending his hand out to her saying through tired lips."Milady the High Castle of Ulster." and she extended her hand out to him exiting the carriage shrouded completely within the dark robes she wore having not worn such things since her times long ago in Avalon she could not help, but smile the memory of returning home from the Holy Isle in such things all those years ago, making a strange prescence of deja vou.She removing her hood exposed long strands of dark red hair which was braided tightly within a ponytail that fell to her ankle, her features rather sharp along the jaw and nose gave her an otherworldly beauty which distinguished her amongst the> Duchess Elizabeth Lothair: >daughters of Lothair and her voice no longer revealed her troubled times but her happiness to be home as she let a smile break her expression as she replied ot the knight sarcastically."Sir Gawaine, I would be a fool indeed not to know the citadel of my ancestors" and with that she moved towards the front doors. The three knights followed behind her and the last knight pulled a trumpet from within stroage area of the carriage and played it to announce the second daughter of the House Lothair has returned to Ulster.<e>
Charlie Dudox :It had been almost two weeks traveling out to this area of Ulster. Most of the way she had walked, occaisionally catching rides on the back of carts or in carriages by those who worried about a woman travelling all by her lonesome. Charlie had never really needed the protection though. She was a big girl who could handle a knife, a gun, and had wrestled more than one "savage" bear handed, and bear bodied in some cases. Charlie had always been up for anything, travelling from tribe to tribe, learning about ruins and about the societies who they had given birth to. But for once she was found something more exciting than a new "lost" tribe. She had found a man who could match her intellect and knowledge about the arcane. <C> Charlie Dudox She had read almost everything he had written, picked the dusty volumes from the high shelves and low shelves which no one ever read from. Eventually she had worked up the nerve to write them and they had been keeping correspondence for months now. Everything was always professional, both of them challenging each other's knowledge. It was about time that they met though, and Charlie had stumbled on an artifact worth showing the brilliant archeologist. It was nestled in her back in her soft sleeping roll. Perhaps simple professional respect had driven her to travel so far but that was unlikely. Charlie was a girl to act on instinct. She liked the way Daniel wrote, figured she would like Daniel as well and this is what had brought her so far. <C> Charlie Dudox Seeing the tall, dusty archologist standing in the middle of the market did not at all disapoint. He was young and handsome as well as being scholarly. The young woman called out, waving her arm. "Excuse me is it really you? Are you The Daniel Carter." She flashed a bright smile and offered her hand. "I assume you were expecting me." Being that he had only been in correspondance with a young Charlie, there was little likelihood that he would make a connectiong that that man and this woman before him. She was indeed a sight to be seen though, skin tanned from too much time on the dig, thick, black hair in tight curls and a body that took the hour glass to a new dimension, making her buxom but far from fat. She was indeed fit in every way imaginable. <C> Charlie Dudox "I do hope that you recieved my last correspondance." she added, hoping that he was indeed expecting her.<E>

-High Queen- Kahlan Lothair All pretense vanished at the sound of the horn of Ulster. Exploding with sound and beckoning her forth as the leader of a nation, bent on duty. A tired smile takes hold for a brief moment as she looks to Halar and urges Willow out ahead of her. Her eyes find one of his great eyes as if to say 'Later. I promise we will talk later.' Her words however are to her daughter. "Willow slow down. Willow--" and she is inside, the echo of her voice bouncing off the walls and carrying it to the ears of her daughter. Grasping her hand she walks quickly with her daughter up the stairs, Amelia takes her and sweeps her aside to get her dressed as Kahlan is thrown into another dress. She had no idea who she was meeting and what it would entail. The dark gown is sleeveless and laces up the <C> -High Queen- Kahlan Lothair Back. The dark russet red color brings out the fire in her hair, making it appear more red than blonde. Deciding to shed footwear for now, she scoops her daughter up, now dressed in a cute little green dress made of a light weight but durable fabric. Willow's hair is brushed by Kahlan while Kahlan's hair is pulled back and plaited. Hurrying along down the hall she makes short time of it by carrying Willow. Once down on the main floor she sets Willow down again and grabs her hand. Smoothing the folds of her skirt at the hips she smiles down to Willow and hurries to the door and out only to be met with one of the most relieving sights. Her sister! One of only two that she had been blessed with, and admittedly the one that liked her more. "Aria! It is your Aunt Elizabeth!" She<C> -High Queen- Kahlan Lothair Says with glee, picking the girl up again and running down the stairs with long legs, feet finding their mark by some blessed grace, and when they meet the cool earth she sprints to her sister skirts flying this way and that. She sets Willow down for a moment and throws her arms around her younger sister. By whatever god or goddess, she was glad to have her sister back safe. She pulls back and holds her at arms length. Relief evident in her brilliant blue green eyes. "Elizabeth! By the heavens you are safe! I am so glad to have you home!" Tugging her into a hug once more she holds her sister close before pulling away and smiling and quickly scooping her daughter up. "Elizabeth, I would like you to meet someone very special to me. My daughter Willow." Willow eyes Elizabeth <C> -High Queen- Kahlan Lothair . o O ( Adahy, going mushy on us here hun? ) NimRuin_War_Wizard_of_Ulster His body seemed to just form into the courtyard as his mind seemed to be looking for someone.." is Duchess Elizabeth here yet?" He said to himself, his eyes immediately looked at the dragon, his lavender eyes let out a curiousity, as a low hiss ran between his lips, his vocal cords shaking as his hiss came from the deep reaches of his abdomen region. His head tilted as he saw no guards around, knowing the man must be a guard. A woman spoke to the man, as his curiousity faded. His form moved towards the dragon only to shimmer some. as he voice projected towards the air..his voice was silent as his form was consumed by the shadows of the castle. He now sat upon a chair far across the coutyard as he leaned back and just gazed up, his eyes were distanst as his mind searched the grounds <C> -High Queen- Kahlan Lothair With a good deal of interest. However the nice looking lady wasnt the mom. However she does hold out her new doll for Elizabeth to see. "Mommy gave me this doll." She says in her cute but soft voice. Shy? Could it ever be so? Her daughter being shy with a family member, or for that matter anyone at all? Grinning she looks to Willow and lets her down again to hide in the refuge of her skirts, hiding within the folds of it and clutching her doll. Brown curls and green eyes just like her father. The tired look in Kahlan's eyes is unmistakable, but it is slowly and steadily being outdone by the happiness there. "You must be exhausted, come we will get you something to eat and fix your room up for you." Fires would be set, beds turned down, and dinner served. She felt <C>
Amariette: ~ "I suppose I can manage with the map Sir Wolf gave me, but as far as the hay and wheat go? I guess I will save the collection of that for when I am on my way home in two days time." Reaching out, she slowly took the list from him again and slipped it into her pocket once more, her hands clasping against the small of her back once again. Rocking back and forth on her heels and toes, she surveyed him, smiling at the way he always seemed to be adjusting his glasses. Looking over her shoulder toward a particularly loud merchant who called out to the patrons, she decided that the market was a place she could get used to over time. The air was filled with the scents of fragrant perfumes and exotic spices she had never smelled before.~<c> Amariette: ~ She made a mental note to buy a few to experiment with in her own cooking and hoped that her father would finally give notice to her culinary talents. Gazing once again toward Daniel, she gave an acknowledging nod of her head and advanced on him, taking both his hands into her own and smiling up to him. "I would very much appreciate all the help you could offer me Daniel, but I really must get going. If I am to acquire the other items before nightfall, I must get moving again and if you could do me one more service as to pointing me in the direction of a decent inn, I would think you heaven sent." She gave his hands a gentle squeeze as her skin was soft and yielding and emanated with the scent of Vanilla and Rosemary.~ <c> Amariette: ~ "After this, I promise to trouble you no more until my final day here in the capital when I will confer on you the directions to my home and then await your arrival with eager anticipation. You have done so much for me Daniel Carter, and I will not forget such open kindness and consideration." Rising up on her tiptoes, she pressed her lips to his forehead and then to each of his cheeks, in the traditional farewell of her people, designated specifically for friends alone.~
Daniel Carter: -The dragon nodded courteously to Kahlan and Willow as they scampered off. He watched with a very distant look and a smile. Ah, life. How it did go ever on and on. How the old ways did live in the hearts of the young, he thought to himself. He was an old dragon himself, quite old. Though most predicted he had another two centuries or more, there were days when he did not feel that was so. Perhaps, he thought to himself, that was why he was so encouraging Daniel to seek shelter in his own race, start a family. He wanted to see the man completed and happy with his own kind, and he supposed that somewhere in the back of his mind he was afraid he would never live to see it. As the drow appeared in the courtyard, the dragon gave a sly wink, then lifted into the air.(C)- Daniel Carter: -Daniel smiled to the girl and flushed slightly as she gave him a farewell. "I believe that the Golden Apple is the best place in the area as far as Inns go..." he said to her as she asked about lodging. "I can meet you there tomorrow morning to supply you with a cart if you would like. Yes, I think that would be best." He said affirming his own statement. As it was agreed upon, they parted ways for the night which suited him just fine. He was tired and in bad need of a shave. He looked like he had been on the dig for a few days without bathwater or a razor. As he was pondering his options in the middle of the market square (which by this point was starting to empty out as the sun sank lower into the sky, leaving a precious hour in which to do the shopping),(C)- Daniel Carter: - he was very unexpectedly approached. Most often times he was left well enough alone for people had no time for things of the past, they simply wanted to progress into the future and so he was of little use to them. Though in his own rite, he was a genius, pure and simple. He had to admit however that not all of it came from his intellect. Most often times his greatest discoveries were only found on account of his 'gift' and not his intuition, though he never wrote about that in any of the disserations he had published on the rise of cutltures in concurrance with their religious and linguistical station. His biggest achievement, however, could be directly linked to his intellect. He was on the team of men that was able to crack the Athabaskan language Tamil,(C)- Daniel Carter: - one of the oldest recorded complete languages dating back to before the common era, spoken by nomdic tribes that roamed the Aon desert and beyond. He supposed he was well known enough in his own circles, but he had always assumed that it had more to do with his famed father. Dr. James Carter than it did with his own accomplishments. The woman before him, however, was not familiar to him. He hesitantly offered a hand, furrowing his brow eyes searching her face with blue eyes beneath his glasses."Yes..." he said slowly, finally offering the hand. "I'm Dr. Daniel Carter. I don't believe we've met before?" He said, giving an odd, puzzled, but scholorly look of someone trying to get to the bottom of a mystery. Correspondance?(C)- Daniel Carter: - But he only kept corrospodance with a man from the mainland named Charlie and of course the archeological society. Who on earth could this woman be? (F)-

Charlie Dudox :For a moment she appeared disapointed. How could he pretend not to know her, after all they had written back and forth of several occasions then it suddenly clicked and she let out a loud lagh, placing her other hand over his. "I'm Charlie Dudox, the archeologist. Please tell me that you got me letter and knew I was coming." She tilted her head to the side, the dark black curls falling across her shoulders. She was indeed of the same make he was, durty clothes, sun baked skin, though she seemed to manage it all with a little more elegance. From her ears hung beautiful beaded earings, the work of the Southern Happon tribe. There work was unmistakeable and rare. Charlie had lived with them for almost two years before recieving the set. <C> princess_of_ulster left the room Charlie Dudox The necklace she wore was a surprising match. It was made out of brass, but the design was the same. IT was a replica of a Fasses work, thousands of years old. That had been one of her best known work, tracing tribes to their origins. Thi shad been a particularly impressive discovry, being that is completely rewrote the evolution of language and religion in that area. Now she had moved on to more northern areas, even bring Avalon under scrutiny as she worked on almost creating her own new field. The fact that she was Charlie explained a lot but not everything. Charlie was supposed to be a man, that was to be expected. Instead he found himself under the dark eyes of this dark bomb shell. Despite his disheveled state, she liked what she saw. Yes indeedy, Avalon was looking better Charlie Dudox <C> and better
Daniel Carter: -And just like that it clicked! He looked for a moment stupified and then he laughed. He ran a hand through his short brown hair and had a good laugh at himself. "Oh my word... I'm so sorry. I did get your letter, I did." He said nodding, scratching the back of his head, thoroughly embarrassed. "I was just expecting to see a Mr. Dudox, not a Miss!" He exclaimed. He reached out and took her hand in both of hers and shook. "It's really my pleasure, I'm glad you could meet me here on such short notice in Emain Macha. I hope it wasn't too much trouble for you to get here, was it?" He asked, finally letting go. He was not expecting this at all. Though she was well designed the first thing that sprang to mind was how glad he was she was fit enough(C)- Daniel Carter: -to be able to tackle a dig this size. Leave it to him, Halar would think, to disregard the perfect beauty of such a woman and totally overlook it. He motioned towards the castle with one hand. "I'm staying at the behest of the Queen here. She wants me to translate some texts out of Tamil for her, ironically enough. You wouldn't believe the kinds of keys that this text holds! It could be more important than anything else we've discovered combined!" he said rambling on, gesticulating excitedly at the idea of such a discovery. "Of course, I have to get through with this dig in Invernis here first, which will give me proper time to translate the text in full." He went on, looking off before them as they walked as if there was something particularly interesting(C)- Daniel Carter: -there, but there was nothing. It was a quirk that often showed up with him. Quickly he snapped back to reality and looked over to her again. "I must apologize for my appearance, as well. I must look like I just came off three days at a site. I haven't had much time to prepare much less take a bath. Maybe I'll have some free time to get on with that tonight." he joked as they walked up to the front of the castle. "Good evening, Dr. Carter." The guard greeted him cheerfully. "Hello Sir, and this is Charlie Dudox, a guest of mine." He said and the guard waved them through with no second look. After all, how dangerous could a pair of archeologists be?(F)-
reddragon_of_theoldworld Air rushed over her sleek form as it soared high above the populace of what appeared to be a grand town beneath her. She had no real wish to know, yet soon she would have to return, return to a life she no longer wanted. A curse from the lips of a single wizard had cursed her to be human for most accounts, with only fleeting happiness in her Draconic form. Red scales glint and glisten with a fiery crimson hue to them, the majority of them are outlined with a band of gold on the outer edges. Skin stretched taut over the fine bones of the Red Dragons wing structure. A few rolls in the air and she tucks her wings in close to her body, beginning a free fall straight for the ocean beneath her. Exhilarating! That was the only word she could possibly think of in this state of mind, a <C> reddragon_of_theoldworld Mind packed full of elemental lore from days long ago. Just when the water seems oh so close her wings snap open and catch the air, pulling hard out of the dive she allows her belly to skim the water, frightening any fishermen out on the water and creating quite a wake. Salt water spray seems frozen in the air for the briefest of seconds as she pulls up far enough to skim over the top of the wall. Did this dragon have a death wish or a tummy that needed to be scratched? Neither, such a limited time in this form gave her the gall she needed to do just about anything. Her hearing picked up on the scattering of humanity below her, screaming as her sleek body slices through the air above their heads, her wings making a hefty -whoosh, whoosh, whoosh- before carrying her up once again.<C> reddragon_of_theoldworld Her long tail, barbed at the end, balances her out. There was in no ones mind any doubt as to the type of dragon that was flying above their heads. The Red smirked at the sight of their scatterings, if only they knew in the next few hours she would be among them if she were lucky enough to regain consciousness within the daylight hours, or didn't crash somewhere and become a mangled mess of human flesh unrecognizable even to the best of hounds. One could only hope that it didn't end like that. Holding her head high she swoops low and comes in at an angle to land on a grassy hill not far from the town. Her legs extend to catch the earth with razor sharp talons, but despite her huge size she neither displaces a clod of dirt nor makes a sound in the process. <C> reddragon_of_theoldworld The scent of Red would be on the air however, anyone keen to the smell of a dragon would not mistake this scent. Rare as it was, her brood was considered ruthless and mean. Cocky at best she would say and gives a toothy grin as she wraps her tail around her form and swivels her head around to look at the ocean. She was a grand sight against the green backdrop, standing out vividly with her bright red scaling. A large blue eye levels on a passing animal, a rabbit no less. Her head tilts not unlike a bird's might when it is curious or eyeing prey. Shifting eyes she takes a moment to glance at it with the other eye before snorting and scaring the animal half to death. Nothing was worth more enjoyment, unless it was a human. <C> reddragon_of_theoldworld Yet humans often made the most unpleasant wails, could they wonder why Red's had such short tempers? Her chuckle comes out as a rumble mirrored in the earth as she swings her head back around to look at the apparent City she flew over and disoriented. Where could she be now in her travels? She knew by the taste of the air that it was north of where she had been before. A light smirk reveals razor sharp teeth, perhaps she would just stay here in hopes of changing back to human form safely, and then she would go and see what the town was all about. Where was the fun in that though? No fun at all unless she made some for herself, confined out to the field like a disciplined child. <C> reddragon_of_theoldworld She didn't know this place and thus couldn't take the liberties she might otherwise take somewhere else. She had to face it, her brood had a reputation. <E>
Charlie Dudox She gave a small laugh. "Yes well, I'm afraid that cofuses a lot of people. Charlie is short for Charlotte but no one calls me Charlotte, I wouldn't suggest you be the first to try." This little threat she gave a wink to show that she was kidding... well sorta. She nodded her head as he began to babble about queens and translations. He really did seem to be all work and no fun, perhaps. But Daniel did not seem like it had made him a dull boy. Charlie didn't go for dull boys and when it came down to it, life wasn't allowed to be too dull around her. Still she found herself following the man off to a castle of all things. It was not often that you found a kig or queen anymore, expecially one who was worth their salt. <C> Charlie Dudox For the moment she was willing to go along with just about anything. after all, her travels had been long and exhausting. A bed would be a nice change of routine. "My travels were fine, I like seeing the country side, it's healthy. Puts, life in a little perspective." It was hard to say what the sperpective was, there had been a lot of being alone and when there were poeople is involved a lot of cat calls and rude remarks but current social situations put the past into proper perspective. "Intervenis eh? To be honest I may have your something pretty relevant for you. In fact I think you're going to either fall on your face or kiss me when you see it, but then again I'm hungry and I cannot translate a thing until I've eaten." <C> Charlie Dudox She hoped when it came down to it, he would pick the latter. That was where her fun would begin. Until then, she was teasing him. After all, she was not exagerating her find in the least.
